Intensive Behavioral Health Services (IBHS)

Apex Counseling and Consultation provides Intensive Behavioral Health Services (IBHS) for children and adolescents experiencing behavioral, emotional, or developmental challenges. Services are individualized, evidence-based, and delivered in the home, school, or community to support meaningful, real-world progress.

IBHS services are typically covered by Medical Assistance (Medicaid) and may be covered by certain private insurance plans, depending on eligibility and authorization.

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Services

ABA services utilize evidence-based behavioral interventions to teach new skills and reduce behaviors that interfere with daily functioning. Services are individualized and guided by data to ensure measurable progress. ABA services are designed and supervised by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and implemented with consistency across environments.

Getting Started

IBHS services typically require a referral (called a Written Order) from a qualified professional. Apex Counseling and Consultation can provide this documentation and can streamline the initiation process by completing the initial assessment, diagnostic evaluation, and all required clinical documentation in-house.

IBHS Individual Services

IBHS Individual Services provide one-to-one, strengths-based support to help children and adolescents improve emotional regulation, behavior, and daily functioning. Services are delivered by trained Behavioral Health Technicians (BHTs) under the supervision of a licensed clinician and are tailored to each child’s unique needs.
